Francesca Zarri

Experience

In 1997, she joined Agip S.p.A to work in the Reservoir Department as reservoir modeler and petroleum engineer and in 2000 she dealt with the operated assets of Eni in Scotland (North Sea).

 

In 2004, after moving to the Engineering and Projects Department, she became the Head of the Adriatic Off-shore Projects department, based in Ravenna District.

 

In 2006, she went back to in-field production monitoring and optimization activities as Head of Production Optimization Technology Department, that, by then, also included most of the Eni’s Laboratories in Bolgiano.

 

From 2007 to 2010, she worked for West Africa Region as Project and Development Director of Eni Congo, completing new and challenging projects in the country (oil, gas and power).

 

In 2011, she has further diversified her professional experience in the procurement function as Head of American Region and afterwards as Head of Procurement Services and Head of the Professional Family as well. In the meantime, she was Eni's representative for Commercial Committee in the South Stream Project.

 

In 2013, she was in charge of the development of upstream projects as Vice President for West Africa Projects Monitoring and Technical Coordination and later on as Development Projects Director in Eni Congo, where she also was appointed President of Enrico Mattei School in Pointe Noire.

 

In 2017, she was called to cover the role of Head of the Italian Southern District until november 2019, when she was appointed as Senior Vice President Italian Activites Coordination.

 

Since 2020, she is the President of Eniservizi and EniProgetti.

 

She’s part of the Advisory Board of Eni International BV and Eni Next, of the Board of Subsurface Energy Resources Sector of Assorisorse, of the Board of Directors of Assolombarda, of the Board of Directors of the ICSC Foundation, of the Scientific Board of the Net Zero Initiative of the Sydney University, of the Board of Directors of the Politecnico di Milano Foundation, of the Board of Directors of the Engineering and Technology Academy.

 

She graduated in Mining Engineering (100/100) at the University of Bologna; she also attended, in 1995, the Eni Master MEDEA (Master in Energy and Environmental Management) with Economics specialization.
